On October 26, 1958 two men were driving near Loch Raven Dam, North of Baltimore Maryland. They sighted what appeared to be a large, flat and sort of egg-shaped object hanging between 100 and 150 feet off the top of the superstructure of the bridge. See Case File link:

Encounter was on May 9, 1981. From Lon Strickler's own account on his website: " I stopped fishing and moved closer to the riffles to get a better look and noticed that the dog stopped barking. Suddenly, I heard a loud yelp from the dog and the creature stood up. The best I could tell is that this “thing” was about 7-8 ft. tall and had dark matted hair. I could only see the body from the chest up because the rest of the body was obscured by the weeds and thickets.''

From the NADP encounters map website: 2008- Out of the fog, from the farm field, going from right to left, came a creature. The creature was about eight to ten feet off the ground. The best way to describe what we saw would be to say, it looked like a person who had jumped off a trampoline and took off with their arms stretched out, in front of them, with their legs bent. It was upright however and was covered all over with fur. It was not a coyote or wolf, but looked like a cross between a man and some kind of canine.

It had pointed ears, like a German Sheppard dog and a long snout. Its mouth was slightly open, as I saw a large tongue that seemed to be lolling to the side of its mouth. From the NADP website: 2004 One night, I woke up and noticed a shiloette, standing outside my window. My eyes focused and I saw that it had a furry outline and these frost blue eyes it was using to look at me. I sat up in my bed, frightened, but I didn't feel the need to yell for my parents or anything. It just kind of stared at me. While looking at it, I saw that it had pointed ears, with tufts of fur, like lynx have, and a muzzle like a German Shepard. It was fairly muscular and was almost resting on my window sill, like it was leaning up against it.

A METALLIC ELLIPTICAL SHINING DISK WAS MOVING SLOWLY NORTH OVER THE ATLANTIC.IT WAS HUGE,500 FEET LONG. IT WAS HIGHER IN THE CENTER THAN AT THE EDGES.NO LIGHTS, NO WINDOWS, NO MOVING PARTS.I COULD CLEARLY SEE WHERE THE SUNLIGHT WAS HITTING IT. IT JUST STOPPED IN MIDAIR AS WE WATCHED,IT REMAINED IN THE SKY AGAINST THE HORIZON FOR 4 MINUTES. MY MOM TOOK 2 POLAROID SHOTS. From the NUFORC website:  In the few moments I looked at it, it was to all appearances cigar-shaped with the bluish light on the side. However, a few seconds later, when light faded some, I looked up and it appeared wider.

Peterson and I were now standing up looking at the object heading east. It was headed toward a mountain or high foothills. As we kept looking at it, we both thought it would crash into the mountain. It seemed to lift up and went over and down the other side.

Strange bird encounter took place "not too far" from Dyess AFB so the location is not approximate. In May or June of 2003, a young man (14 years old) recounts: 

Two children walking along highway saw unfamiliar object in sky.

My sister (age 10 years)and I (age 11 years) were walking US Highway 27 about a mile south of Oneida.

Suddenly, from over a hill, appeared a large, silver white rectantular shaped object.

We watched, transfixed, as it climbed skyward, flapping like a sheet in the wind, until it was out of sight.
